Fire Hall Museum & Education Centre is holding a free family event. It is being run in conjunction with the kick off of Emergency Prepardedness Week in Cambridge which will see Civic Square filled with fire trucks, antique fire engines, police cars and ambulances and an inflatable hazard house. The Fire Hall Museum is also staging a photo exhibit at the Old Post Office library and additional photos will be on display in our courtyard. There are also two Janes Walks at 10:30 and 11:30 am from the Old Post Office Library to the Museum which will showcase the changes that have made the Galt core into what we see today.

In addition there will be a variety of exhibits by local history groups in the Bowman Room at City Hall as well as hands on Virtual Reality lessons in the proper use of a fire extinguisher. For more information visit www.firehallmuseum.ca
