Join the City of Waterloo’s Pollinator Working Group at a community planting event in Bechtel Park. Help enhance an open meadow with native plants to establish healthy habitat for pollinators.

· Sept 20 – Dig in and plant some early spring flowering trees and 250 native wildflowers.

· Oct 18 – Learn how to hand-broadcast wildflower seed in a tilled area and remove invasive buckthorn from the surrounding area.

Try your hand at our matching game – learn some fun facts about native pollinators! Lend a hand, take home some native wildflower plugs and/or seeds to get started on your own native pollinator patch.
