Bracelet Beading Workshop with Haudenosaunee artisan, Susan Hill
🗓Sat, May 3, 1:00 p.m.
Our good friend, Haudenosaunee artisan, Susan Hill, joins us at McDougall Cottage to lead another of her popular beaded bracelet workshops.
Susan is a Haudenosaunee artisan and member of the Cayuga Nation living in Ohsweken on Six Nations of the Grand River Territory. She is self-taught in making moccasins and was mentored by her mother Millie throughout her years of beading. Susan is the sole proprietor of Hill's Creations with over 25 years of experience.
Over the course of the afternoon, participants will learn how to set a loom and everyone will come away with a lovely one-of-a-kind handmade piece! (Colours and patterns are subject to change). This is a great opportunity to make a special gift for Mother's Day!`````````````````````````````````
This workshop is best for people age 12 years and up.
Museum Members receive a 10% discount by using "Memcode".
Susan’s workshops fill up fast, so be sure to reserve your spot today! Space is limited.
